WOKINGHAM & EMMBROOK kept their cup hopes alive with a home win over Fleet Town at Lowther Road on Tuesday night.

Sam Martin netted the opening goal of the game to put the Sumas in front after 19 minutes.

The visitors responded quickly after the break to level the game just two minutes after the restart.

But it was the Sumas who found their scoring touch late in the game with two goals to progress.

Jamie Goodwin hit a stunning shot to restore Wokingham’s lead in the 81st minute before Joao Jardim put the tie to bed in stoppage time.

Goals from Jack Thomson-Wheeler, Eddie Lee and Dan Warre Gave the Cityzens a vital win to put them up to 16th position and with at least three games in hand on all the sides around them in the standings.

EVERSLEY & CALIFORNIA claimed three points in an entertaining eight goal contest with WOODLEY UNITED on Tuesday night.

The Boars raced into a quick two-goal lead after just 13 minutes with goals from Lee Probert and Luke Cox.

The Kestrels responded through Sid Gbla to grab a goal back in the 17th minute.

The scoring action continued as Eversley established a commanding lead before the break as strikes from Francis Sey and Luke Wayborn put the away team back in the ascendancy.

Eversley made it 5-1 shortly after the restart when Mitch Cooper netted.

Woodley scored two late goals, but it was the visitors who took the spoils with a 5-3 success.
