Ellis Cowd’s goal kicked off the scoring to put the Cityzens in front before Hilltop found a leveller.

Strikes from Oliver Bourne and Eddie Lee ensured Reading had a two-goal lead before the break.

Reading scored twice more in the second-half to seal a 5-1 victory with goals from Joe Pilling and another from Bourne.

The win puts Reading City in ninth place on 16 points from nine games.

A brace from Daniel Nicholson and a goal from Pele Hagger saw them get past Holyport Reserves with a 3-2 triumph.


WARGRAVE were beaten 3-0 on their trip to Windsor & Eton which leaves them in 12th place on four points from eight games.
