CLINTON MOLA 6: Kept his run in the first-team going and defended solidly and switched to left-back after Dorsett came off in the second-half.
CHARLIE SAVAGE 6: Sprayed around some nice passes and had a couple of efforts at goal that went just off target.
LEWIS WING 6: Not at his creative best, but still kept the team ticking over in midfield.
HARVEY KNIBBS 6: Worked tirelessly for his team as ever. Created a great chance in the first-half with some great footwork and a cross for Sam Smith.
FEMI AZEEZ 6: Hurt Northampton with his pace down the wing early on which drew an early booking. Hit the top of the bar late on before being taken off
BEN ELLIOTT 4: Picked up an early booking and gave the ball away as the deepest Reading player in the half but was bailed out by an excellent Joel Pereira save.
SAM SMITH 6: Made some great runs in behind. Had a header blocked off the line in the first-half after some brilliant play from Knibbs.
