Wynberg hosted Grey College and won by 68 runs. Wynberg won the toss and elected to bat on a docile wicket. Once again their formidable opening pair of Kyle Williams (103) and Paul James (42) gave them a solid start putting on 85. Williams was in an aggressive mood (5 x 4, 3 x 6) in an innings lasting 131 balls. Yaseen Moos added impetus to the innings with a cameo 30 off 16 balls as the innings closed at 243/8.
Grey was steady on reply with Ruben Maree (65) leading the way. The Wynberg spinners Naas Beets (3/31) and Ethan Leibrandt (3/48) exerted a stranglehold on the middle order and their challenge soon petered out. Only some lusty hitting by tail-ender Ian van der Merwe (38) added respectability to the scoreline as they were dismissed for 175.
