Reading FC’s captain opens Happy Trails – Reading Today Online

The Opening of the Happy Trails Play Nursery in Shinfield on Saturday. Andy Yiadom cuts the tape to open the new Nursery as Joty Bhurji (in Santa Outfit) look on.

A new childcare facility in Shinfield was opened by Reading FC’s Andy Yiadom last weekend.

Joty Bhurji, a director of Happy Trails, said: “Following our ethos of ‘building healthy minds, tummies and communities’, we thought it would be a great opportunity to invite the community of Shinfield to our brand-new setting.

Families were welcomed to Santa’s Grotto, and events included Christmas cookie decorating, a cake raffle and face painting.

“Many parents were delighted to see the new space and children got to enjoy themselves and play.”

Happy Tails caters for children aged from three months to five-years-old.

Joty added: “We were excited and delighted to be joined by Reading FC’s captain Andy Yiadom performed the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony and enjoyed a tour of the setting, along with posing with photos with fans.

“The event was a wonderful reminder of just how spectacular the Shinfield community is.”
